In a Career spanning 30 years, Orlando Jones has embodied range and versatility. One of the stars of the Starz original American Gods and fan-favorite film Evolution, MTV crowned Orlando the “King of Fandom” in 2015. In 2016, he hosted and produced content for the digital broadcast of the Academy Awards, and his one man show and international tour kicked off with a comedy central special in Johannesburg, South Africa.
2017 has been an exceptionally exciting year: Book of Love hit theaters in January with Maisie Williams and Jason Sudeikis. He joined forces with Roberto Orci to launch Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: War Within the Cartel franchise with an action film for Amazon and Twitch. During Black History month, Orlando starred opposite Laurence Fishburne as Oliver Tambo in Madiba, followed by a show stopping performance as Mr. Nancy in the smash hit American Gods. This summer, the Duplass Brother’s tapped Jones for their dark comedy Room 104 on HBO while SyFy celebrated their 25th anniversary by having Orlando legally marrying fans in SyFy’s Geek Wedding Chapel at San Diego Comicon. His platform, Cosmunity, is also the official LA Comicon app.
